RE: Employment Requirement God
If it's a Catholic organization I see no problem - They're still idiots though.
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you

If in the USA, follow up question, should the federal government be funding it?

Not in the USA - But if you're interested - I think governments should fund healthcare organizations on principle and pursue a policy of universal health service - I don't see why they should fund a religious organization because it clearly violates the principle of secularism - I don't even see why healthcare organizations should be allowed to have a religion.

If so, scroll down to #2.

But health care is not a primary religious activity.

Quote: Factors to consider that would indicate whether an entity is religious include: whether its articles of incorporation state a religious purpose; whether its day-to-day operations are religious (e.g., are the services the entity performs, the product it produces, or the educational curriculum it provides directed toward propagation of the religion?);
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

I'll not seek employment with them and have switched to another primary healthcare provider group.

Your thoughts? Do you know of any other employer that receives federal and state funds that has a similar requirement?

its good when you are christian because your taught to love people your more employable as believer and you can get more out of life.

Apparently you're not taught how to construct a sentence though.  Oh well, can't have everything I suppose.  Also don't you get to go through life believing there is a happy place you go to once we dump your body in the ground?  That must be a tough one to take seriously.  Blessed be the gullible.

Good is a relative term, don't need that belief to care for people. More employable how? I think the deluded actually get less out of life.

There is a difference between a Church and a religious organization or what is loosely coined a Faith Based Organization.  What constitutes a religious organization is absurdly broad.

This provides a decent overview.  #7 and #10(especially) are worth a read.
