My friends list is filled up with multiple accounts of the same person, and people who don't want to see anything I post. I know that that's what I said I wanted since my deconversion to atheism, but that was before I realized that all my activist stuff would not have activity on it. (pun intended) I am going to start clearing my friends list. If you care about staying on my friends list, follow these directions:
1) Let me know
2) If you have multiple accounts, pick ONE account you want to stay friends with me with and tell me what it is.
Not a single person responded. Not even my mother, not my sister, not my two relatives who are atheist themselves. The only places I get support are from strangers I don't know, and I have to be in a FB group in order to get that support. Is this normal for someone who is an atheist to barely, if at all, get any support from family/friends? What can I do? Thanks.

There is lots of truth to theist family and friends running from you if you come out. My biological family threw a fit when my younger sister came out. That is not to say everyone reacts to that degree, but there are pockets in the States and especially in the east, where dissent in the family community will get you ostracized or worse.
Rest assured though, atheists do have online communities like this one to vent when things like this happen.

You can find atheist groups on FB as well. "Atheist vs The Deluded" is one I hang out at.

To hell with facebook forever. Someone hacked my account, posted bestiality in support groups. I was kicked out of half of them before I knew what the hell was going on, or that I was even kicked out of them in the first place, and I ended up being humiliated, so I deleted my account, and will never be returning there. So, I'm done with facebook forever. They need to fix their shit.
If pinkie pie isn't real, then how do you explain the existence of ponies, huh? If ponies are real, then that's proof that Pinkie Pie is real. Checkmate, christians!
