It's also an unincorporated town.

Headed to Vegas, baby!

For me, headed to SD baby! or the L.A. beaches area. Hellz Yeah Smile But, it's been a while.

SD beaches, especially Carlsbad are my favorite, but maybe that's me being biased Wink

No, SD beaches are great. My first experience of one was when I was 14 and my family was on vacation, visiting former neighbors. Let's just say that my adolescent self was stunned to discover that there really were women who looked like the bombshells I had seen in films and magazines -- quite the revelation for a boy from North Dakota farm country, where the cows aren't all housed in barns. I didn't get into the water much that day for fear of getting up and drawing attention to my near-constant erection. Ah, southern California!

A little off topic here but... do these still exist? I thought the Amish was a crazy retarded community that existed in times when cars had only 1 horse power and after that they probably have died out.

I grew up in the middle of (though not the center of) Amish country, about 60 miles northwest of Lancaster.  There were Amish students in my class; the boys stayed until 3rd grade and the girls until 5th IIRC (and, yes, they could ride the bus: many actually Amish people can use electronics and such things if 1) they don't own them, 2) it's strictly for work or education, and 3) there's no other way, I think).

Every weekend a family would come by on a horse and buggy selling homemade baked goods and vegetables.

A particular source of profit for many nearby Amish - other than farming, of course - is quilting.  A real, handmade Amish quilt can sell for upwards of $2,000; I've been in the bank behind an Amish person depositing over $5,000 cash.

Don't worry, my friend.  If this be the end, then so shall it be.

Horse and buggy? They have a weird definition of not using any tech. If I'm right, a vehicle with an engine is considered as technology. Rolleyes

Who could forget Toad Suck? No word on if these are the hallucinogenic toads (hence the sucking), or the garden variety boring type.

I'd say they innocently mistook tomatoe leaves for something else.....
