To be fair you get horrible acts from non-Muslims in places of depravity too. Look at some of the Christian groups in Africa. Look at Northern Ireland. I think saying it is the fault of Islam is far too simplistic. I think it has to do far more with society and culture.

People don't read their religious text then decide on their morals based on reading it. They will interpret/distort it into how they view the world, which is already largely based on their upbringing* and other life experiences.

* This doesn't just mean their parents values, although these can be important. A lot of people involved in terrorism are youngsters who are easy to manipulate.

Muslims aren't all happy living in the West, which is why some are going out to fight with ISIS and some that aren't hold a grudge against the West. The majority are happy, peaceful and get along fine with others.


I'm not saying there isn't a problem with Muslims and violence/terrorism. What I'm saying is that focusing solely on their religion as the motivation for those that get involved in this stuff is far too narrow.

In principle you're right but consider this: no Christians have fully occupied entire areas of Muslim cities. If you search through YouTube, you'll find many videos about Swedish and French districts completely occupied by Muslims where if a non-Muslim goes, there's a high chance for them to be killed - just because they're not Muslims.
I'm not saying Christians are better but compared to Muslims Christians are innocent babies. When Charlie made a cartoon to mock at Mohammad what happened? Muslim circumcised swines slaughtered the editorial office of Charlie. If a Muslim magazine did such a thing, no Christian would travel the whole distance to kill them.

I'm not convinced that your occupation claims are true, however as a Brit we did take over entire countries for a while. This wasn't really anything to do with Christianity, despite the fact that the vast vast majority of people being Christians at that point in time.

200 years ago it wouldn't have been unreasonable to suggest that is was mostly Christians taking over foreign countries.

The Charlie killings don't seem any different to Christian abortion clinic bombers, or animal rights terrorist actions (note the latter isn't a religious organisation).

The problem is not any particular religion. The problem is anybody with a "I'm better than everyone else" or "I don't want you exist because you're immoral" mindset. Clearly, there are lots of Muhammadans with too much testosterone, there Christians that have that same problem. The victimhood narrative by people like DawahMan and others drives people to do insane things.
