Don't know why it rubs me the wrong way, I'd never use it, and can't imagine a single gay male I know that ever would either. (and not that we are 'conventional' moral paragons or anything like that) but it just seems really scuzzy.
Hell if I know why it irks, it just does.
It is because it is dishonest, and, at least here, you are not dishonest. If you fuck around, but never pretended that you were doing something else, that is totally different from fucking around when you promised someone you would not fuck around. The one is honest, the other is being a lying asshole (and I mean that in a bad way, not how you naturally take the word "asshole").
You may recall me previously posting about liking you in a certain way, and you are not disappointing me now. Frankly, you seem like a pretty good guy, and if you drank and were local, I would be happy to buy you a beer or two at a local pub.

You've all posted very well here. I didn't know if AM was some "straight culture" thing I just wasn't ever going to understand for obvious reasons or something else mysterious.
I know gay couples in 'open' relationships, and 'closed' relationships. AFAIK, they are all honest about it with their partners and friends.
LOL, as soon as marriage became legal in Iowa, a couple I know who were then in a 'closed' relationship, 'negotiated' a legal marriage deal for themselves, and they are now in an 'open' relationship and legally married. I don't pretend to understand their situation, and I don't really care, they are happy, their financial futures are secure, and they are still fun to be with.
All my gay friends are fun to be with. Except that one Lesbian couple, but their dysfunction seems to work for them and very well at that, and gives the rest of us something to talk about. [wink]

I don't personally have much of an opinion on it really, it's just two different human instincts at work. The human instinct to have sex with a lot of people the other is the human instinct to try and attack and hack into something.
I find it surprising that a website like that actually works though, I thought most guys just join normal dating sites and say they aren't married or have a girlfriend. I just use plenty of fish, it's free and I don't put all of my details in there so people can hack it and know all about me. It amazes me that dating websites in general where you have to pay still exist.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Hacking IS wrong.
People put their trust in these companies to keep their info safe.
I can't stand dishonest people, but not everybody on that site was doing the wrong thing.
What if someone from the middle east hacked this site and some muslim atheist guy on this site got murdered!
Not good!

How I feel about cheating is between my girlfriend and me. I don't feel anything about you cheating on someone else: that's between you, her/him, and your rabbi.
I will, however, offer a bit of advice: Never do anything you wouldn't want to be caught dead doing.

I remember seeing this commercial late at night quite some time ago and thinking is was the height of douchebaggery. Hacking's illegal, as it should be......but, I couldn't help laughing when I was told about it.

I'm sorry to hear about that Becca, what a dickhead he was I'm glad you kicked him out. If someone wants to see other people, then they should at least have the guts to break up with their current partner first, or ask about an open relationship. This sneaking around disgusts me.
I think the basis of the website is horrible. However, it's not actually advocating anything illegal I assume. I couldn't make such a website and live with myself, but clearly that doesn't bother some people.
I don't think hacking it is right, I think objections should go through the proper channels. I don't however have much sympathy for people who might get found out from leaked data. As far as vigilante justice goes, it's one that raises a wry smile rather than my outrage.

Rob, theists are in a loving relationship with Jesus.
The bible IS the word of God, with instructions on loving him the correct way!
How many theists have betrayed his trust by NOT following his instructions! WHORES! The lot of them!
They use excuses like: but it's just metaphorical, etc, like he's not real! It disgusts me!
