Starting today and running all the way through August 2nd, the Games Done Quick people are doing their annual summer speedrun telethon to support Doctors Without Borders.  Watch nerds beat classic and modern games into submission for a good cause:

Well, the telethon is over, and the speedrunners generated just over $1.2 million for Doctors Without Borders from donations alone (I donated $25). It'll take more time to tabulate the money coming from sales of shirts from The Yetee and other sources.
