Bobbi Kristina Brown dies at 22
Atlanta (CNN)Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 22-year-old daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston, has died, a Houston family representative said in a statement Sunday.

"Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away Sunday, July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family," the statement said. "She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."

While I am sorry to hear of her death...it makes me nuts that this is a family of 'God's will' people who fought against that will for the last six months by keeping her on life support, etc.

If they are so thrilled that she is in the arms of their god, why didn't they let her get there months ago?

For all practical purposes, she probably did die 6 months ago. They never made it public but from what leaked out, it sounded like she had no brain activity.

No. No you're not.

I mean... People dying is sad. Our personal experiences determine which scenarios we think are sadder than the baseline.  I mean, this is sad because a 22-year-old died, not because she was Whitney Houston's daughter.  That is to say, no more or less sad than the deaths of all of the adolescents who've died recently and didn't make the national news.

Don't worry, my friend.  If this be the end, then so shall it be.

Not really caring about someone I didn't know in the first place is perfectly natural. I mean, how many people have died that day without me even knowing they existed?

I care a bit when it's some figure that added something positive to my life. Musicians, actors, writers - I'm sure I forgot many other categories - but that caring doesn't go beyond a very remote feeling either. It's rather sadness that this well has dried out than human compassion, since I didn't know them up close and personal either.

Another bathtub related death.. clearly their family is either soluble or part spider
“The larger the group, the more toxic, the more of your beauty as an individual you have to surrender for the sake of group thought. And when you suspend your individual beauty you also give up a lot of your humanity. You will do things in the name of a group that you would never do on your own. Injuring, hurting, killing, drinking are all part of it, because you've lost your identity, because you now owe your allegiance to this thing that's bigger than you are and that controls you.”  - George Carlin

Yeah, I'm not sure I care, either. Not a Whitney fan. I just figured since the rest of media can't be oversaturated with this, somebody might make a connection between this death and atheism.
