I just removed windows fucking 10, and installed windows 7 on both the laptop and the PC. good lord, everything is back to NORMALLY working now.
Is it me getting old and grumpy or is windows 10 just absolute shit ?

Several months into using Windows 10, and I've still only had the most minor, slight problems with it. I must upgrade my PC soon though, planning on doubling the RAM and getting a nice SSD installed

windows 10 isn't bad once you start disabling things but.. you get more privacy with 7 than you do with 10

Gonna stick with Win7 until it's no longer supported by all my favorite programs and new games.
It took me 10minutes to figure out how to exit the weird picture viewer on my dads computer, in the end i had to alt-tab and close it.

privacy is not the issue for me, it's lots of other things, like the GUI is laggy and wierd, apps i don't want are installed, the start menu takes sometime to open, the ridiculous incoherent control-panel/settings thingy, it's takes more ram, the sleep option doesn't work properly, the updates are not optional, couldn't install a home group in my network in windows 10, did it in windows 7 easily and flawlessly.
what more do you need as a reason to ditch that crappy OS ?

I upgraded from 8.1 to 10 a couple of weeks ago. It's running fine for the most part. But sometimes I just lose the ability to scroll with my mousepad. Does anybody know why? It's seemingly random. Sometimes I'll start up my laptop and it'll function normally, and other times it won't.

You get more privacy if you ditch windows altogether. Just saying.
