Hello. I'm David. I was raised in a fairly devout Protestant (United Methodist) home in the southern US. God and Jesus were always around when I was growing up. I stopped being overtly religious around the age of 18 and can't say I've ever regretted it. I attended a Methodist university but the atmosphere was not an oppressive one and I genuinely enjoyed my time there. I won't go into too much detail but fast forward several years to the present and I again find myself thinking about God, religion and spirituality again. I hope I can get answers here.

Hello Shinagami! Welcome to AF
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay." For context, this is the previous verse: "Hi Jesus" -robvalue
"Ah, you're an agnostic?"
"Oi think oi 'ave a cream for that!" ... Hot Fuzz references aside, welcome to the forum. I hope you find what you're looking for. If you have any serious concerns, are being harassed, or just need someone to talk to, feel free to contact me via PM
Welcome, Welcome! Dip your toe in the water and see how you feel.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
Hiya! It's nice to meet you!
Well, wether you are an atheist is not a trivial question. Do you believe that something one would call God exists?
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psalm 14, KJV revised edition
Quote: I hope I can get answers here. There's no evidence for any of the gods which humans have invented throughout history. There. Now you are up to date. Relax and enjoy yourself.
Hello and welcome! I hope you enjoy it here.
"A wise man ... proportions his belief to the evidence." — David Hume, An Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding, Section X, Part I.
