Just upload an image directly from your PC in your User Control Panel. You'll find it in the User CP, under profile and change avatar.

We have a varied population of all sorts of professions and beliefs, (atheist theist agnostic deist, and some I haven't even the words to label) from all over this big blue earth. I'm from Colorado USA but grew up half of my life in Kansas and like you I was spoon fed Christianity. I went so far as to reject medical treatment for a deadly disease (to give god the chance to heal me if it was his will without those doctors who think they're gods, interfering) and ended up in the ICU with one big question. Where the &$@! is god? Five years after that--after exhausting my excuses for him, I ran into an atheist and he wasn't at all what I thought atheists were like. I knew I shouldn't talk to this guy; I mean, atheists and Christians can't possibly marry can they?! I decided to have a talk with him about faith and life and the world and I rummaged the bible frantically for answers to the questions he asked--and that's when I begged the question, if god is truly a pure loving being, why did he condemn all of humanity to suffer for the failings of beings which He himself gave free will to? And why so much blood?! The god of the OT and the god I was taught about didn't correspond with each other in my mind, even if Jesus said the laws of the OT stand for all time. So there I was, in quite a pickle. I was supposed to be converting this atheist that I had fallen in love with, yet the more I actually researched about the bible and the origins (I wanted to find the true god from the horses mouth), what I found was profound. Anyways now I'm married to that supposedly evil atheist and he's proven to be literally the best man in the world with a heart of gold. I still seek proof for a creator of this magnificent planet, but what I find proof for is quite the opposite! That's my story, I hope I didn't bore you, but I wanted you to know that each and every one of us on this board have stories of our own. We get called a lot of names, and might act like we've seen it all, but each and every one of us are here for our own reasons and there are many diverse paths that brought us here. If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

 im new to this group and im also a atheist, I don't believe in god, cuss so far there's been no evidence so yeah

I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
