RE: View my Website.
Here's some interesting stuff for you to consider. I really dislike the Shrek movies, however popular they may be and may have top ten quality of animation to them. While my animation style may be in the low levels (I am working on it) I do at least strive the hardest for characterization quality and well plotted scripting for my movies which I should think is the first most important thing for moviemaking. I've studied screenwriting for more than 7 years, and I still am.

And I know I eventually will need to turn over the animation to more professional people but not before I've started with what I have available to me now.

Hell, the animation and voice acting in this is better than what OP has come up with. So is the story.

What the actual fuck??? What kind of twisted mind came up with that!

Love the use of the characters from Left 4 Dead 2.

One word of advice, leave out the reference to atheism in your Amazon write up. It has nothing to do with your books and will only serve to put people off. People won't buy your books just because you are an atheist.

Because the people at those studios are teams of hundreds of programmers and suchlike. I just work by myself and have a limited (in comparison) quantity of tools to work with in my program.

Life is not a meritocracy. It's not just a matter of how good people are, it's also a matter of how much time they spend working on making something good enough to compete and finding your niche. It's a matter of logistics. You cannot compete in the same way. You need to think of doing something different. Like an interactive book with animated gifs for use on a tablet for example. Put the same amount of effort into a clip a few seconds long for example and make it perfect.

Have you ever seen that animation of an alien singing to Glora Gaynor's I will survive? It took him nine months to do it. You can read up about the attention to detail here. This landed the creator a job at Pixar. Now think about hundreds of animators giving the same attention to detail for every scene in an entire film.

Take your title animation for example. It's quite long and while there are some moves which are OK, there are many where the character seems to float into position. But it's obvious that you considered that you had worked long enough on it and needed to move on. What you should have done is had it shorter and made every second of it professional quality. This is of paramount importance because this is a demonstration to the viewer of the kind of quality they can expect.

You need a different mindset to the one that you have now. You need to be more flexible and be prepared to do something different even if you are emotionally invested in having spent so much time in it. Don't throw good money (or time) after bad. And don't think that something is good enough because you are getting bored. Know for sure that every second is good enough.

Hello. I'm sorry it's been a while since I responded. I've started the Indiegogo campaign now with the resources I have available to me and set the goal low because I opted for InDemand. Because regardless of whether any of you are right wrong that doesn't change the fact I AM IN DEBT of needing to pay off my illustrator of my picture books.

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/woggl...383#/story

Also, since he's not willing to change the pictures I decided to do two separate series in two different environments with the same character as the center focus. But I won't have any picture books if I cant afford the pictures and I want to keep the picture book artist I have. And if you think I should keep the picture book artist I have then I'm doing the right thing by starting this campaign. I hate to admit this, but he's illustrated three full books for me so far on the promise I WOULD have a successful Indiegogo campaign to pay them off.

Even if I can't completely master animation I still need to pay off my illustrator who is better at art than I am. Also I still really want to somehow get my franchise started as I've already waited half my life to even get started.

Good luck. Smile
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
