Drich, I was gonna respond to you in full, but I think at this point I'm content to call you a bloody idiot and be done with it. I know from my own religious experiences that you've been trained to think that the mess you just puked onto your screen is a logically sound series of perfectly reasonable facts, but that is essentially a meaningless word salad disguised as a series of baseless assertions. If I start picking that apart, you're gonna go in between every paragraph of what I post and fill in your screen with more word salad, and our posts will eventually be page-long labyrinths of you spouting meaningless bullshit and me desperately trying to bail it out of the boat with my logic-bucket. I just did this with someone the other day, and they raised a lot of the same points you just brought up, sooo...I'm good.
Suffice it to say that if your Gaud were all-knowing and all-perfect and could create perfect beings, then he could give those beings a legitimate choice and the free will to make that choice, and they would still choose him and his morality every time because they would be made in his image. All-powerful and all-perfect means all-powerful and all-perfect. If knew the system he created would fuck up this bad and he still created it this way instead of redesigning it, then he is certainly not all-loving, and judging by his ham-fisted attempts at "starting over" he's probably not all-knowing or all-powerful, either.
Besides, mainstream Western Christianity maintains that Gaud is all-loving and that everyone is a child of Gaud, so even by religious standards you're a backwards heretic, which probably means you don't really understand Jesus or what he did, which means you can't have accepted the "real" Jesus, which means your salvation wasn't real, either. You'll totally burn in hell unless you get with the program and confess with your mouth that your genocidal creator is all-loving and that we're all Gaud's children.

God probably calls it the Asshole wing of heaven. Only the worst of the worst end up there.

I don't think anything is the word of god. Maybe Jesus is just the fallible word of man. I don't think it matters with regards to how you live your life ultimately. You can believe in Vishnu, you can believe in no god at all. If there is a god -- and I think there is. I'm not going to waste time trying to convince anyone there is, because I don't think it matters whether you believe or not -- I doubt someone who could create a universe cares what a person on one small rock among who knows how many number of rocks believes. If they care about anything, it'd be about actions, not thoughts.

What about afterlife? Would that be a deal breaker for you, make you lose your religion? I don't think it should. Maybe seventy-eighty years was the best He could do. Don't knock it unless you can do better.
How about this? Every time a woman conceives she first of all gives birth to a new god in the womb. That god reads the schematics (DNA) and assembles you. Once you're born, god creates your conscious mind. God prescreens your sensory input and tags a few associations for your review and sends it on down for conscious consideration. When you really piss Her off, she makes you tongue tied and forgetful to put you in your place.
Whaduh you think? Would that be enough god for you?
