...at throwing interceptions. Ryan Fitzpatrick is the backup.

I know that. Stick with me for a minute.

They're going to have to bring on another quarterback, right? I mean, really - Grno's not even going to be fit to hold a clipboard for a couple of months.

What do you think the odds are of that mystery quarterback being *worse* than Fitzpatrick? Seriously, they might do better signing some random off of waivers.

How do you think this Washington fan feels? We have a shit for brains owner and even with great players it feels like owning a Lamborghini with an oil leak and flat tire. Looks great but you can't do a thing with it.

The Jets had a chance to begin with?

I'm not sure what to expect from the Vikings this year. Bridgewater will be improved I suppose, and the addition of Adrian Peterson could open things up a bit. Or it could be a repeat of last year. Impossible to say.

I'd like to see them make the playoffs, but I think that's the best I can hope for.

Not in the last several decades.

I can recall an age when we saw the Saints on our schedule and it was an automatic win. If science proves anything it is a fact that it is a crap shoot and nothing lasts forever.

Will you guys be making more football moves after catching the ball this year?

Dez has the Real Stuff ... he's a ballplayer. McFadden at RB is going to get hurt and prove to be bad money. JJ should have bitten the bullet to keep Ware, who had the two best football moves, a good juke and running your ass over. Without a good RB, Romo will respond to to more pressure as all QBs do, with more ints and a lower completion percentage. Romo's a great QB on a balanced team, but he can't carry the team.

Regarding New England, they'll go deep in the playoffs, but I'll be honest, if the Patriots were playing al-Qaeda, I'd flip a coin to see who I root for.

So what you're saying is, the Tony Romo meltdown is coming early this year?

No, it'll be right on schedule ... Every other week on the schedule. Ours is tough this year, and Romo-Bryant can't carry the team.

I predict that every team will go 6-6-4, with the Raiders winning the AFC by virtue of outscoring the Titans 143-142 in their common games (tiebreaker 9), and the Panthers winning the NFC over the Rams by virtue of having scores 46 TDs on the season to 45 (tiebreaker 11).

Don't worry, my friend.  If this be the end, then so shall it be.
