Dez has the Real Stuff ... he's a ballplayer. McFadden at RB is going to get hurt and prove to be bad money. JJ should have bitten the bullet to keep Ware Murray, who had the two best football moves, a good juke and running your ass over. Without a good RB, Romo will respond to to more pressure as all QBs do, with more ints and a lower completion percentage. Romo's a great QB on a balanced team, but he can't carry the team.

Don't know why I called Murray "Ware", probably had our great olb on my mind ....

I heard some people talking about "sleepers" on the radio.
One guy says all the stuff the Raiders have going for them...I hear this voice in the back ground...."What are you saying?" "Are you insane?"...lol...look at their division!

Red Sox/Yankees is the more bitter rivalry in NYC. Jets/Pats isn't a rivalry as far as I could ever tell; the last real rivalry the Jets had was with the Dolphins in the 80s. The Jets have been too dysfunctional over the past decade for their fans to pay attention to any other teams, IMO.

And Giants fans can't feel anything but smug when you mention the Pats. Tongue
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Anyone can pick a winner. Superbowl predictions are so lame, especially when we all know Seattle is winning it.

So who do you like for top draft pick?

I'm going with the Raiders - for all the good it will do them. They might be good for three wins this year. Might.

The Bucs are going to have a breakout year and win 5 games. The Texans and Titans might win ten between them. For all the shit the Browns get - they'll rack up more wins than any of the aforementioned.

What do you think the odds are of that mystery quarterback being *worse* than Fitzpatrick?  Seriously, they might do better signing some random off of waivers.

Angel

I heard the Jets are working out Rex Grossman...no shit!

They drafted Bryce Petty this year. So that's who's behind Fitz and Geno. And they could always bring back Michael Vick.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
