KB is my  rookie keeper in.my $150 fantasy league. The last two years have been disastrous. I traded Marshawn away last year for draft picks because I already had AP.

Now I am down a rookie and have to use a roster move day one. I have to keep a rookie in the league if I want to keep two other players. I am keeping AP again. I can't keep two at any position, so I have to keep an injured Kelvin.

FML.

So you have to keep a rookie from last year?  This is KB's 2nd year...what kind of fucked up league are you in steel?  Sounds brutal.

I can't do FF any more! Too frustrating on Sundays Wink On top of that, I'm a Lions fan so I have enough frustration in the football season.....

What?!? Another Lions fan? You have to be from Michigan. There's no other reason to be a fan.

I honestly don't feel like I have the constitution to be a Lions fan anymore. Every year they're either the worst team in the league(those 0-16 and 2-14 seasons consecutively were extremely depressing) or they're a decent team that fails to live up to their potential because of stupid mistakes. I'm tired of feeling like making it to the first round of the playoffs is winning the Super Bowl for my team.

Yes sir.  Born and raised, live in Westland.  Right there with you FNM.  Every August I find myself getting optimistic about their chances and by December I'm so freaking frustrated.

Right on. I'm from Midland. When I was a young chap, I used to travel down to your area for the soccer leagues. We actually have another member here that doesn't post much anymore, Cinjin, that lives in Grand Rapids.

The last few years have been especially brutal, but I'm trying to look on the bright side. It's been a lot of fun watching the Stafford/Johnson combo, and last year we even had a good defense. I mean, halfway through the season we had the #1 defense in the league. When have you ever been able to say that before?

Yeah, even as an objective observer, I picked them to "take the next step" for, like, 4 years in a row.  I think I have them at 7-9 this year.

Don't worry, my friend.  If this be the end, then so shall it be.

I'm a bit more optimistic at 8-8 Wink

I know there is so much to like, but they just can't seem to get over that hurdle.  This year will be interesting.  I love Caldwell as coach, but this offense so does not live up to its billing.  Ugh, just talking about this gets my blood boiling.....

I don't follow the team too deeply, but from what I understand, there's a big management problem in the front office for the organization.

Which makes sense. There's got to be something going on internally when you have a team so consistently failing to live up to its potential.

Well, he's only had one season to correct it, and they certainly weren't terrible last year. What I think would really help solidify the offense is if they can get a solid running back that can stay healthy. They need to be able to keep the defense on their toes.

But you're right, talking about it just makes you want to hit something.
