Somebody had to lose. Too bad it couldn't be both.
So I'm thinking Seattle's out of contention already. Bah.
Interestingly enough, 531 still gives them a 57% chance to make the playoffs, and a 37% chance to win the division.
I mean, right now the only NFC locks have to be Green Bay, Atlanta and Carolina (I say the last two because I think they'll each get 7 or 8 wins from their games against the Bucsx2, Saintsx2, and NFC East). As good as Arizona has looked in most of their games, would it really surprise you if they lost 3 in a row or 4 of 5?
Seattle's played a brutal schedule thus far. They'll be fine, I think. I've still got them winning the West.

May you continue to revel in a useless sport whereby its players make an exorbitant amount of money merely for the continuation of distracting the population from matters of more importance.

Jason Garret isn't a good coach and Brandon Weeden is a shitty QB. It was inevitable, IMO.
The good news for you is that the NFC East, as always, is a dumpster fire, so the Cowboys aren't completely out of it yet.
Well, I think Garrett's a decent coach -- not the best by a long shot, and too pass-happy even when he had a good running game, but not bad.
Before the season I said that with Murray gone to the Eagles, we would revert back to being 8-8 schlubs praying for another team to get us into the playoffs. Once Romo and Bryant went down, all bets were off, and I'll be happy to see 6-10.
The defense gets a couple of starters back next week, and hopefully that'll allow the 'Pokes to control the pace of the games better.
Bottom line: the Cowboys have the worst wanna-be GM in the league. Letting Murray go was a major blunder, and led directly to Romo's injury, I think.
Problem is, he owns the fucking team. I honestly don't think we'll get another ring until he sells the team.

It's all coming together for the shitshow that is the Eagles to reclaim their rightful place on top of the NFC East with a home win over the Giants next Monday night

Certainly you're not implying the Eagles are better than the Falcons.
