A higher force

RE: A higher force
I couldn't vote, it's a false dichotomy due to the vagaries of the term 'higher power'. You need to add 'I don't know' as an option.

RE: A higher force
Yeah, a "not enough information to answer" option would be useful on some polls. I can't pick either option without a lot of clarification.

True. If the definition is 'a supernatural entity with universe creating/controlling powers' then my answer is 'I do not believe in a higher power'.

People can't even agree on what supernatural means. My stance on ignosticism is generally saying, "Not only do I not understand the question, I don't think you do either.”

The word supernatural is quite tricky only because people make it tricky. It's quite simple tbh.

It's like alternative medicine. If what people want to call supernatural wasn't merely a mask for total ignorance, it would be incorporated into a framework that includes other natural laws.

I'm not open to the idea of a "higher power" unless somebody can explain to me what the hell that actually is. Until then, asking if I believe in a higher power is about as useful as asking if I believe in a bluer sweater.

What about if it was a pink sweater?
