I had dear old Pat's number the first time I heard him use the term 'the Left' as an epithet ,especially as at present there is no effective political left in the UK,US or Australia.

In this scandal, I think Coughlan fully wins in both content and presentation. All points regarding the UKIP party sway me completely to Coughlan's side. Also, both of the two consider themselves comedians (I saw a video of Coughlan doing a show on stage even), and Coughlan's presentation wins in the humour department. Of course the content win is in terms of it's common sense and logic, and the comedy win is entirely a matter of my personal taste.

I have no expectations of anyone calling themselves an atheist.

On this forum you will find some very different views from some very different people who also happen to be atheists.

I couldn't care less about the expectations of anonymous others about anything. My indifference grows to contempt for some members of the lunar religious right. ---I consider willful ignorance and bloody mindedness a far worse than clinical stupidity.
