Confusing ??

P'shaw !!!
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

This is the first forum I've ever been in that I've never even gotten a warning.  My previous most-frequented forum would give me warnings and limited bans for being mean to another posters, or "moralizing" Rolleyes When I'd finally get access back to the forum I'd have several PMs saying that other posters agreed with me and basically thanking me for taking the bullet for them.

I figure that if I haven't run afoul of the mods here yet, then chances are pretty good that I probably won't in the future, so I'm just gonna carry on doing what I do. Smile

As for the OP, it's all been said as far as I'm concerned: the rep'd person should be punished for the rep'er getting themselves banned.

You can put whatever you want, but "About to be banned! So long!" has a nice sound to it.

Obviously, you have been doing something wrong here. However, like most sites, this one has a cheat sheet to help you figure out what you need to do to change your poor record thus far, called "rules":

http://atheistforums.org/rules.php

There you can see a list of options available to you in order to be warned or, even better, banned. So, now you can know what to do to achieve the results you desire.

The thing is I didn't need a cheat sheet for those other sites, I managed it all through my own hard work and ingenuity. Big Grin

If you want reps you send one and get one back.
It means nothing. It's a gimmick.

Some sites have more stringent requirements than others.  Given the amount of time you have been here and your lack of progress, it seems that you may need a "cheat sheet"* this time.  If they did not want you using it, they would not put it up.  So you ought not feel guilty about using it this time.

* Since it is permitted, it is not really a "cheat sheet" and I ought not have called it that originally.  It resembles a cheat sheet in that it has the answers.  But it is not impermissible to refer to the list to guide your posts.  Many sites actually actively encourage doing that.  So feel free to use the list of rules with impunity. Wink
