Ghost Reps
I am just wondering why banned people's reps are still valid. I feel that, if they were banned, they should not be trusted with who they through their reps out to. Just a thought.

RE: Ghost Reps
In my mind, even the best posters can go south, and eventually be banned. A poster shouldn't (again, IMHO) be punished for a repper's banning.

But what if there were spammers or something.

Anyone who offered a Rep point can revoke it at any time.
If someone feels as you do about a banned member, they can feel free to remove said Rep point.

RE: Ghost Reps
I agree with c172.

Some banned members reps are still meaningful. Not all, but some.

I think you have a point, there. In that case, I might support the right to ask mods/admins to remove it. But nothing automatic.

RE: Ghost Reps
Generally, spammers don't rep.

I've never seen that.

The only rep of mine that I would remove if I weren't so vain is he who shall remain unnamed.

He shall forever remain unnamed. Forever.

RE: Ghost Reps
I just got my rep modified, but it didn't go up or down. Is there neutral?
