Quote/Reply not working right in a thread

I've noticed for about a week that whenever I hit the reply or use the multi-quote function in the What's Everyone Up To? thread that a post I had quoted and responded to keeps appearing in the text-editing box:

I've been just deleting this quote from my previous posts but it's been week and it's getting annoying.

In the post linked above I tried keeping the quote in the post I was writing thinking that it would disappear when I hit the reply button the next time I went to quote something or reply but it's still showing up!

It looked like it was appearing because the multi-quote button was still "activated" for it, but I unchecked/unselected it and that quote it still appearing!  I unchecked/unselected that post for multi-quoting, exited the thread, and when I went back to the thread it's RE-checked to be quoted!

No matter what I do, that post re-selects itself to be quoted!

You've probably already tried this, but have you tried clearing your cache before logging into AF?

But damn, now I have to go through all my most-visited sites and re-setup all the shit I just purged.

Now that you've done that, I've found that sometimes the quote button gets stuck in the on position, and all you have to do is go back to the offending post and click the quote button again (if it's stuck on).

That's what I was trying before, but every time I would unclick the stuck-in-the-on-position button it would turn itself back on when I returned to the thread.

I believe it's tracked client-side, so I don't think so.

I thought about that, too. It's on my list of things to check tonight when I get home. I'm gonna go check that thread now and make sure it's still not quoting that post.
