This desperate attempt to keep this bigot in the national spotlight is malpractice, and a waste of the taxpayer's dollars.

On the upside, these fools continue to keep putting foot in mouth, in highly public venues, over and over and over.
And repeatedly rebuffed.

Take the bigot's name off the thing. So long as it doesn't affect the legal standing of the document. If I were getting married in Rowan County, I wouldn't want her name on my license. Give it a "State of KY" stamp. Marriage equality shouldn't require the sign off of a bigot.

The problem with this kind of idiot bigot pandering is that it assumes that marriage is a religious function. It is not, it is a civil function that various churches tried to hijack back around the time of the reformation because they either were trying to turn their state into a theocracy (cf Calvin and Geneva) or they finally copped on that there's gold in dem thar hills.
