If someone takes the news presented by any of these networks, left or right, as their only source of information, they are perfect morons. That's not even the claim of TYT. They comment on news other outlets researched. And in that line I kind of like them. If I'm interested in a story they're presenting, I do my own research and fact check and certainly don't lick up everything they say.

What does it mean that he is an atheist? What does it mean that he claims to be a democrat? Does that add anything to his credit? Should I bow down and not call him a rightwinger if his comments fit the bill? What exactly do you expect?

I am telling you he is not on the right. He is against guns, he is pro choice, he is for gay rights, etc. etc. etc. Just because one of his views fits with the right, doesn't mean he is suddenly in the right wing.

No! TYT has been proven wrong on multiple occasions. They distort the truth, and when they are exposed, they ignore it and keep going. They have strawmanned, withheld information, and straight out lied in several videos. That is not a news network that I would want to listen to.

That's your particular fallacy. Always judge a person by what they do or say. Never judge them by what they claim to be. He may be all of the things you mention, but he's still a rightwinger, based on his comments.

He has made videos about his democratic views. He has bashed conservative youtubers in several videos.

And he "says" that he is on the left. Doesn't that fit your requirements?
