Well doggie! Look 'a here. A gun with a bible verse on it, an assault rifle no less. The Dominionists will eat this up. I am telling you, my secular brothers and sisters, you better prepare yourselves for the coming Dominionist war. They will attempt a coup, there is an infestation of them in the U.S. military already.

A gun manufacturer in Florida has designed an assault rifle featuring Christian symbols - in the hope it will never be used by 'Muslim terrorists'.

Spike's Tactical in Apokpa is selling the powerful weapon, called the Crusader, for $1,395. It has a Psalm on one side and the Knights Templar Long Cross – a symbol of the Christian Crusades to reclaim the Holy Land from Muslims - on the other.

The Bible verse, Psalm 144:1, reads: 'Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.'

Muslim groups have condemned the divisive gun, which they suggest will be bought by 'Christian terrorists'.

Make no mistake. Dominionists are Christian terrorists. They terrorize us in the political arena. It is only a matter of time when they pull out their guns to get what they want.

With all due respect, I do not think that is true. Even the most radical persons I've known in the military take very seriously their oath (sworn to God, for them) to "defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic". If Dominionists tried to take over the USA or otherwise began to try to harm non-Christians, most Christians in our military would take up arms against them, as we atheists would take up arms against those who tried to use force to repress their religion directly.

Like a Muslim insurgent cares if there's a Bible verse on their stolen assault rifle! Idiots on both ends of that gunsight.

Even if ordered to attack people of the "wrong" faith, or no faith, the oath to obey the orders of their superiors includes a conscience clause, that they only need to obey the "lawful orders" of their officers. I will not be quaking in my bed at the fear of my own military, no matter what they write on their rifles.

Well it's written in English, so it's obviously about making sales to fundamentalist idiots in Florida, not about changing the way we fight the war or stopping actual terrorists.

The military are issued their own rifles, and the few that don't, "the operators" who purchase their own, would know that you'd need to have the inscription in Arabic, Farsi, or Pashto (etc), depending on the particular people they're fighting.

Even if an American-born domestic terrorist were to encounter that particular rifle, the odds are he'd see the Christian fundamentalists who would make such a weapon as "enemies of Islam", and so he'd be more likely to delight in using "the weapon of the infidels" against the people who crafted it.

It even made it to the European news. Only here it said that it was supposed to deterr islamists to pick up these weapons. I can see, how they will refrain from using a perfectly good shooter just because it sports some stupid bible shit. Major facepalm.

I definitely agree that the vast majority of our military would follow orders to put down any such Christian takeover. I know many active-duty service members, and think it's pretty low to impugn their loyalty and discipline.
