What do you live for?
#31
RE: What do you live for?
Killing myself and succeeding takes more effort than just living another day. I've been down that route and am missing nine of my ten fingers as a result. I live for the dim hope that maybe tomorrow will be different.

Did you just say being human transcends being human?  How is that even possible?

Perhaps it is because of age old traditions of religious faith which gives hope and joy to so many?

Bwahahahaha!!!

1: I see I should have chosen a better formulation. What I meant is that humans can do things that are not prescribed in their genes, for exemple killing ourselves. I called the ability to do that 'being human'. Sorry for the confusion.

2: I don't really see what that has to do with it. Maybe you should explain yourself a bit more.

Why does everything have to be so deep all the time. Life has ups and downs and we all die in the end. Everyone has different meanings and or goals. Live your life, it is not a script.

Yeah I was already thinking that but in case it wasn't I didn't want to make it a joke.

Why so deep?
Because the unexamined life is not worth living.

I disagree. Not everybody lives on profundities, but many live worthwhile lives.

Yes they can. But I think not everybody, and those who examine will get much more out of their lives.

The line I quoted was from Socrates btw.

Delicious, delicious babies.

This must be code word for cock.

You live for hard, smelly, throbbing cock. It's especially good to you if its uncut with heavy smegma built up under the foreskin. You peel back the skin and wipe the cheese on your lips and lick it off.

...For starting poop threads on AF. Duh!
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
