If you ever bring him with on your next vacation, we would meet up with you to take him Smile

Really?

Well, right now I live 25 hours away from you lol. I will be flying up north to visit family in December, so it's still a few months away. But if the stars align and you can still take him at that point, we'll see what we can do. Thank you so much for offering. That's very nice of you.  Heart

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Quote:As most of you know, I have 6 cats. Not by choice, mind you, but because there are so many strays and homeless animals in this awful little town we're currently living in

Our rescue deals with a rescue group in West Texas.  The woman who runs it will not adopt dogs out to families in her own area.  She either arranges adoptions to people in East Texas - the Austin area mainly - or New Mexico.  We take the Golden Retrievers off her hands and re-home them in Arizona.

Her reasoning for that is pretty much the same as what you said.

Oh that's great. I'm glad there are people out there who care and who do so much for the poor babies. Is the rescue group you guys deal with called A Pet's Wish???
