That link was about state sponsored atheism not communism, there are religious groups that are communist. In fact, if one were to define biblical Christianity it could be defined as socialism, as they have much in common.

Marx, Lenin and Stalin however were all atheists. Are you so naive to Think that their atheism had no bearing on their political ideology? Stalin is attributed with a estimated body count of between 20-60 million, I defy you to find one religious figure who tops that....

Karl Marx didn't kill anyone, dude. It depends on who's counting and what their criteria are, but the most sensible numbers I can track down put Lenin right  around 3 million, Hitler around 11 million, and Stalin around 27 million. Some estimates put those last two within 5 million kills of each other, and some people give Hitler more than Stalin on the logic that Hitler was the one who pretty much singlehandedly started WWII.


Chairman Mao, interestingly enough, probably did believe in god on some level, and he certainly leaned more toward the "personality cult" method of ruling, essentially setting himself up as the god of the State (making him, in my view, a religious figure). He's also sometimes credited with more deaths than Hitler and Stalin combined, but mostly because of how bad his policy was (lots of those people starved or died of disease).


Besides, your whole "find me one worse example" is kind of pointless because it will only have us comparing anecdotes and squabbling over their veracity. It would be far more descriptive to look at trends and statistics, and the simple fact is that the vast majority of brutality over Earth's history has been carried out by religious people, and the amount of violence done solely in the name of the gods completely dwarfs the amount done in the name of purging them. Historically speaking, religious people and agendas are responsible for much, much more bloodshed than atheistsm, even with a monster like Stalin tipping the scales.

No, the point is YOU providing an example of any religious figure with a body count bigger than Stalin. Obviously you don't believe God exist so using him as an example is just asinine, since when did what others believe become factor instead of evidence? Or do you abandon the idea of having to provide evidence when it's convenient?

In order to deny that your god has a bigger body count, you'll have to deny his existence.
