I work as a waiter in a restaurant part time, and the thing that annoys me the most is when customers come in and sit themselves down. Now, in england, you just don't do that, you wait to be seated. I choose where you sit. If there is only two of you, you don't get to sit in a booth meant for 5. Know why? Because if a party of 5 turn up at the door, they won't get a table unless I have to physically re-arrange the tables. That takes time, effort, and makes it more difficult for me and the other customers to move around. I can understand people from different cultures and countries doing it, it's still annoying, but I understand why. But what really got me the other day was two foreign women who walked in, sat themselves down on a booth meant for 5 which still had the previous occupants food, cutlery and glasses on it. There was half a god damn pizza still on the table! For all those women new, the previous occupants might have just gone to the toilet. And it didn't even cross their minds. And then to cap it all off, because they didn't have any menus (because we give them to you when we seat you) they proceeded to take menus from a table which was reserved. The menus were placed there specifically to indicate that it was reserved. The reason you didn't have any menus is because you didn't wait to be seated! In what society, culture or country is it acceptable to do that? People are just the worst!

Well, if you live with someone, you should be able to tolerate the other person's farts
Watching someone bite their nails and spit them on my floor, is another one where I just have to stare at them, and think to myself, are you serious right now? I have an adult that does that in my family, and it's like uhhhh, please stop.

I'm greatly annoyed by people who play music on their f-ing phones, out loud in public. Whatever happened to head-phones? Why do morons with f-ing toys in their pockets think they're guerilla DJs all of a sudden, bringing "joy" to the masses, by exposing co-workers and fellow commuters to whatever auto-tuned RnB garbage happens to be popular with idiots at the moment?
Even if I did like the crap they like - over-driving a tiny speaker, which has a frequency response spectrum similar to that of a kazoo is no way to appreciate music.

On a dare, I went into an old house that everyone said was haunted. When I got indie, the door slammed behind me. Oh that was just the wind, I told myself and began looking around. Suddenly, I heard a voice. "Now I've got you. Now I'm gonna eat you." It wasn't my imagination. It was gleeful and diabolic and coming from upstairs. Xo I climbed the creaky steps to the second floor with the voice steadily going "Now I've got you. Now I' gonna eat you."
IThe voice was coming from the room on my left. I looked in and there was this little boy picking his nose "Now I've got you. Now I'm gonna eat you."

Nervous laughter or fawning for validation/approval.
The former is an annoyance. Laugh at a joke, laugh at your own jokes, fine. But if you are tittering nervously between phrases or words, I have an alpha response to stifle.
Fawning for approval/validation drives me up a wall. If you say something and look around nervously, or just overall seek attention passive aggressively, there is another alpha response I have to stifle.
In my world, farting is a sign of respect.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I didn't even mention farting earlier because I thought everyone just knew not to do it haha. Yeah I hate that too, and I don't get how some of these schoolboys laugh at it like it's so funny. It's disgusting and I have a real pet hate of it.
It's not just the farting in itself either. Some people don't seem to realise that if you keep farting in your pants throughout the day, you're going to end up stinking of shit. While you might laugh at farting, nobody finds that cute.
