What Are Some Little Things People Do That Make You Mad?

Oh, you close at 11? Thank god it's only 5 to!
'The more I learn about people the more I like my dog'- Mark Twain
'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House “Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom "If my good friend Doctor Gasparri speaks badly of my mother, he can expect to get punched.....You cannot provoke. You cannot insult the faith of others. You cannot make fun of the faith of others. There is a limit." - Pope Francis on freedom of speech (September 26, 2015 at 4:19 am)BrokenQuill92 Wrote: People who don't hold onto their children in parking lots. Like what the hell! Or leave their kids in the car while it's really hot outside, stupid people. Also people who suddenly stop dead on the pavement when you're walking behind them, who then decide to stare at YOU like you've done something wrong when you walk into them.
"Adulthood is like looking both ways before you cross the road, and then getting hit by an airplane" - sarcasm_only
"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable." - Maryam Namazie
I hate it when people blow their nose around food like in the kitchen. I wish everyone would just go to the bathroom to blow their nose.

But, if that same thing happens on the road, in a car, it means they were following too closely. RE: What Are Some Little Things People Do That Make You Mad?

I completely agree, however I acknowledge that in a very busy, professional kitchen, that can be hard to do, when you're getting slammed. But they could at least step away from the food, use a tissue, and wash their hands properly. Back when I was a bartender in a busy restaurant, and we had a rush suddenly come in, one day, I got through the sudden influx of drink orders, but the servers were still running around like mad, taking care of food orders. One of the servers rushed madly past, and, since I had a lull, I offered my assistance with anything she needed. " Can I do anything to help you? " I asked of her. Frazzled, she turned to me and said, " Yes! Can you go pee for me? "
Saw a woman walking a dog yesterday. The dog (non-descript breed, but pretty large - 60lbs or so) stopped to sniff at something or other, and the woman began jerking the leash - not a little 'come-on-puppy' tug, but like she was trying to pull a fat man out of a tiger pit. As an almost autonomic response, I shouted across the road, 'Gee, I bet THAT hurts' and was told to fuck off and mind my own business.
The dog then got done with his olfactory investigations and trotted along after the woman. Good thing to, as I'm sure she had to get home and beat her kids. Boru

That's when you remind her that cruelty, when witnessed, is everyone's business. Contrary to what she might think, she does NOT actually have the right to treat her dog any way she pleases. |
