RE: Does this music give you chills?
Music... from games... from the 80's?.... is this real life?!

EDIT: where's the "no" option in that vote?

Benny: It's a beautiful piece of music from a wonderful game Smile There was something quite incredible about FF7. I know what you mean, I have music which links to times in my life too.

Poc: Love it! I adore computer game music. That's one of the classics for sure. People don't get to not like Ryu's music Tongue That would be blasphemy! I just thought it would be funny.

Here is another of my favourite computer game musics. I wonder if anyone else has played this? One of the most ridiculously hard games ever too. Never got fucking anywhere with it.

My all-time favorite computer game music comes from a game that could play some of it without a sound board/chip. It could play music on the PC speaker!!!
Of course, it sounded a whole lot better with a decent sound chip.

The Halo monks get me torqued.

I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Now it's all got started, it would be criminal not to include this work of genius.

I have very strong memories associated with the original game boy Super Mario Land soundtrack.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Hmm...I seem to have already replied to a thread just like this...
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

I had a Radio Shack computer that was awesome for projects: one of the first voice-recognition systems, upgradeable RAM, etc.  But there was one thing the C-64 always had over every game system: the best sound generator in the business.  Even in BASIC (at least I think it was BASIC), a kid could figure out how to play a pretty cool sounding synth song.  I spent so many days at my friends' houses, completely ignoring them for hours and hours, doing this.  But obviously, this song is exceptional.

To this day I find myself humming Link's little ocarina diddies. I can even match the events to the tunes. The Song of Time and Saria's song stand out the most. You'd think Epona's song would have been a little catchier given how often it was used. (Wait, who was Epona named after? O.o)

If you're as good as me at stuff, you'll know that Ryu calls out "tatsumaki senpu kyaku" when performing his whirlwind kick. What you may not know is that there was some debate early on about exactly what he should say:
