Burundi relying on US police to find missing robotics teenagers: official

Burundi is counting on U.S. law enforcement officials to find six teenagers who went missing after a robotics competition in Washington, an official with the East African country’s embassy said on Friday.

The teens, aged 16 to 18, were last seen on Tuesday after the FIRST Global Robotics Challenge, and two have since been spotted crossing the border into Canada, according to Washington, D.C., police.

Resignations and firings seem to be about the best we get most times. Nevermind actual jail time. Though I guess there must be some cops that go to jail, or it wouldn't be common knowledge that they get treated like shit when they end up there.

Unfortunately, it'll take a dedicated special prosecutor and dismantling the Police Union before corrupt cops ever get reigned in.

Much easier to place a new police chief in and let the Union obstruct him into uselessness and resigning... for the next fool.

Problem is the power is concentrated into the Unions and officers. Try any meaningful reform and suddenly you've found 3/4 of your force has Blue Flu.

Woman slapped Minneapolis police car before she was shot, report says

A recently revealed search warrant may explain the source of that startling sound: a slap.

A woman presumed to be Ruszczyk was killed after she slapped the back of the police car, according to a search warrant obtained from Hennepin County District Court by Minneapolis Public Radio and the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

See?  She ASSAULTED a police car!
