There's two dead police officers, one lying in the street and the other one in a ditch. In one of the other videos another officer was shot in the neck by an armed suspect. In the top video two white supremacists engage in a shoot out with with a Highway Patrolman and with a Deputy Sheriff. Even with the best training an officer can still be killed in the line of duty.

Somehow I doubt these guys have the best training. Though I will admit the windows might obscure some things, if the guy doesn't have a gun in his hands when the cop walks up, there isn't much reason to have to fire a gun into the vehicle just to stay alive.

The majority of police officers deaths in the line of duty are accidental. FBI stats from 2013 (same year as the above graphic) state:

"An additional 49 officers were accidentally killed in the line of duty in 2013."
That being said, I would like to see you opinion of how these particular men could've handled this encounter with the police differently.

That's just a guess but when you consider the number who get shot v their actual percentage of the population it has to be up there.
