Ex-Oklahoma cop Daniel Holtzclaw found guilty of raping black women while on duty

In closing arguments on Monday, prosecutors said Holtzclaw targeted his victims by going after women he came across while on patrol. He ran background checks and went after those who had outstanding warrants, previous arrests or carried drugs or drug paraphernalia.

They said he did this because he did not think authorities would take the victims’ word over his if he had to defend himself against sexual assault allegations.

Can't blame him really.  That always worked before.

No, chief.  It is not obvious that you take it seriously at all.  You've got a ticking bomb on your hands there and one day it will go off.

(And when it does - this entire story will be evidence in the civil suit against the city and the department.)

I'e heard this is specifically the kind of thing the military will kick you out for. If you go to an army recruitment officer, and say you want to join because you want to be able to legally kill people, you won't get in. That is how to take something like this seriously. I wouldn't want someone like that anywhere near civilians.

A cell phone video from a bystander captured the shooting, and the man appears to be walking away from deputies when they open fire. It appears he is struck in the back by their bullets and falls to the ground, as they continue to fire. Multiple gunshots can be heard.

The guy had supposedly shot up a place and was walking down the street with the gun plainly visible in his hand toward other people at a gas station.  Sometimes stupidity gets you killed.  He was old enough to know the LA rules.
