I never understood what the appeal of Facebook is. If this is what passes for social interaction these days - I'd rather avoid it altogether. Which I do...

Which I do... There's more than one kind of social interaction. You don't prefer this avenue of it, others do. It appeals to others for myriad reasons (I stated my own back on an earlier page)... but for many other people, the core foundation of it... is that nearly all of their friends and family are connected to it, and they can keep in touch with as little as clicking on the person they wonder how is. Much much simpler than piecing together a couple of dozen emails in the event that you've forgotten what the person was up to at any given time... and besides all of that: the newsfeed gives them a method by which to gauge how a LOT of their friends and family are doing at a glance. So... while sure: it's not for everyone... it doesn't have a billion users for nothing. Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
