I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.
I had a friend in Junior High whose parents were total assholes. He wasn't allowed to listen to anything but Christian radio, and they were super oppressive and controlling about everything.
I also worked with a super fundie once, and the only reason he wasn't preaching 24/7 is because the boss told him no pushing his religion at work when he was hired. He was interesting to say the least. He believed in Creationism, despised the Jews and Muslims, hated all things homosexual, and listened to religious raido every second he was at work, which drove me nuts. He also sported a giant mohawk. Like I said, he was intersting.

I don't really know any real asshole theists.
I did date this Muslim guy a while back though. He wasn't an asshole but he was really into his religion, and I just didn't understand it. Needless to say it didn't last.

I have lived in the U.S., so I have met quite a few. But for top honors, I think I will go with a Catholic who I met who believed that the Inquisition was a good thing. He believed that because he believed stupid Catholic nonsense about evil sinners deserving hellfire and damnation. So what is a bit of torture to help get more to repent?

So far almost all the ones I met IRL were ok, or at least their assholishness was not connected to their beliefs. Well... I had some teachers with an incredibly obnoxious holier than though attitude who thought they were something better than us because of their piety. My suspicion is however that they would have been condescending assholes either way, and religion was merely a convenient vehicle for feeling superior.
