For the love of these very forums.

I came here from the sinking ship at .com. The place that started as my life boat has become my online home!
Thief and assassin for hire. Member in good standing of the Rogues Guild.
I haven't been to any other forums; this is my first, so I can't honestly compare it to anything,
but I also enjoy these forums waaaaay too much. I do spend more time here than I really should; I have other stuff I'm supposed to be doing.
@EVF
I didn't get to know you before you left, but I am so very glad that you came back. You are an awesome guy and I have been loving seeing your posts around the forum. Also, I've truly enjoyed getting to know you the last couple of days and I'm glad to call you my friend. You've definitely cheered me up a bit. Plus I know what you're hiding (that kik pic). I'm the only one who knows how hot you are now
I spend an absurd amount of time here. It literally takes up 80-90% of my (non-pornographic (though a little pornographic with A69)) browsing time these days.
If you have any serious concerns, are being harassed, or just need someone to talk to, feel free to contact me via PM RE: For the love of these very forums.

I was kind of depressed and then I return to forums and talking to you cheers me up greatly, always great to make a great new friend. You just seem like a lovely, lovely person. And yes, I also think that you look very beautiful RE: For the love of these very forums.

Special shout out to Cthuluhuhuhu for his steady hand on the tiller for so long. I feel lucky to be somewhere on line where people much more technologically savvy than I can make a thing like this work so well. Kudos also to Tibbers for getting it up and keeping it alive until it could fill out; now there is a regular community which morphs pretty regularly but smoothly.
I think we've changed from a place where atheists hold off all theist challenges to a place where anyone capable of open conversation can claim an equal seat at the table. Blowhards of either stripe stand out more as not belonging than theists do. Somehow it does this while at the same time being a place where recent de-converts can get support as they work through the damage. Now the only problem is the magnitude of the attractive nuisance it represents for those of us looking for the same sort of community in RL. The anonymity of the web makes some risks easier, like being blunt when that is called for or expressing appreciation as is happening here. Thanks to the many who guard (or have guarded) the space against spam bots and trolls without crushing the freedom of expression. I couldn't do what you do, so thank you for doing it so well.
I'm psychically massaging all the prostrate glands in this thread.
(sorry Losty, best I can do for you is imagining Donald Trump asking you to pee on his cornflakes) The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
