Chrome is better. FF did release Update 41.0 yesterday I believe. Most of the times it's add ons you have enabled that are the actual issue.
We are not made happy by what we acquire but by what we appreciate.

When my son the techie got home from work we talked this over and he suggested that there have been so many updates to Firefox lately that it was possible I got a corrupt file.  He had me uninstall the whole thing and then re-install from Mozilla's home page.  Seems to have worked.  The only add-on I added is AdBlock Plus.

So far so good.  It works and no miracles involved!

Chrome is not open source... it may have some devilish entrails! Heck, it's from google, you just know it's gathering even more data from you!

No, seriously. Who gives a shit? Worrying about Google tracking your movements when you have real-world concerns like raising your child, paying your bills, fixing your truck ... that shit is stupid. No one cares except Google's advertisers, and I've got AB+. I don't give a shit if they track my surfing, I still don't see their ads.
