Yeah, guys, about this. It's not like calling customer service and getting no answer; you don't have to hang up and redial. You hit that button, tell us why and then submit. That logs a report that we can investigate and sets off an alert banner to get our attention. To put it another way...
While of course we would prefer several people reporting an incident rather than none, all you're doing by constantly hitting that button is this:

All the more to the point... if there's a spammer who's made several threads, or a user who you've already reported in one thread for something... we'd prefer if you made one report per user with spammers, and one report per thread with users.
I don't mind if 20 people report a post once each... but it's really unnecessary, and even somewhat painful when 20 people report a post each.. and one person also reports 10 more identical posts/times in the same thread. We'd prefer to not add this to our clause on 'abuse of the report system', and for members to act in good faith when they report (that they don't intentionally leave us with an absurd avalanche of paperwork).
Even though I have found that I really like the paperwork (wtb file manager  )... it wears on me to see 10 reports of the same thing by the same person. Please, please please kindly refrain from doing that.

Sorry for my part in spamming reports in the past, I have learned to curb it since.
But yeah, be nice to our staff. Their majick is arcane and powerful.
