Well I don't think it was serious. I'd just say its probably better to not insult people since it does more harm than good. As I have said.
One of the problems is that it can escalate so easily.

Yeah but I'd rather say something like "That's fucking stupid!" than "You fucking idiot!". Best of both worlds then because I'm not even attacking them but I still get to attack their argument and swear. But yes I'd only even do that if I really felt like it.

Each unto their own but for me it's usually deliberate and when I go for it I go for maximum impact ... it's like I said, when I think someone is f***ing dumb, I will tell them straight they are f***ing dumb and I expect the same in return (c'mon Daystar, you know you want to).
