Why even THINK to indulge atheism?

---

I was raised Southern Baptist.  I had to quote my daily memorized bible verses before dinner each night.  Give me a chapter and verse, and I can usually STILL, 40 years later, tell you what's written there.  (KJV, of course)  I went to a Protestant Xtian school.

And then the most amazing thing happened to me.  "Why even THINK to indulge atheism?"  Why, because I LEARNED HOW TO THINK, of course.

Isn't this Omnom/Bambi? It's identical. His broken English suddenly comes together when he wants to deliver a put down or some vulgar expression.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Could be, but I will act like it isn't until the facts are in.

You know, Kingpin, I sometimes wish I was still a Christian so I could spend my time gutting the idiocy of these types of Christians from the perspective of a fellow believer, one who simply doesn't put up with the idiocy of this particular type of trollish moron.

As annoying and idiotic as we find them, simply from the bad argumentation and constant misinformation they vomit at us, they really have no true impact on us. But I know that when, on occasion, we get an idiot atheist who spouts ridiculous misinformation in the name of the same "Hi! My religious views are..." nametag I wear, it makes me shudder at the association.

I see a lot of those types of atheist trolls on Facebook discussion threads; I can only imagine that Christian forums are troubled with them, as well. But since this is my "home base" arena, I mainly see the Christian kind of troll, like the OP.

Yeah I've called out a few on here before and I know Chad has as well.  I don't mind calling a spade a spade.  I see these and just shake my head.

Atheism is like paganisms christianity. It's just that simple and redundant. If you even consider atheism in your life, I would like to ask you about that too. Why ever consider atheism as valued for yourself? If "atheism is disbelief in God", paganism is "satanic practice", ---christianity is the belief in God---this ammounts with saying that atheism is like paganisms christianity simply means atheism is not even a mainstream term, it is not a religious view but a negetive one, it should not be in the books, nor should it be taught in schools....

That much derogitoryness about atheism is recognized by me as a known fact already established. Why have atheism out there in the world anyway? To simply encourage disbelief in the positions held by the theists. There is nothing wrong therefore with the position of the theists, all religion is christianity, and the world goes on like a fart in the wind. Heart

I made a previous thread that stated you must make a choice about what to believe or not to believe. This is also true! At some point in your life you run across God, and must choose something to believe about the feeling inspired in you. The only valuable belief is belief in God, although you can make the choice to disbelieve if you like--- that would be rather like accepting that you are a monkeys uncle though--- an "atheist": a purely rationless existant. A hypocritical evil.

I just don't get it, maybe someone can enlighten me, but why? Why even THINK to indulge atheism? What is it that makes you, and so many others, fall into the trap that, supposively by christians standards, makes you go to hell? Argue

RE: Why even think about atheism?
I was hoping he could stick around to tell me WTF the word "supposively" means.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

Oh. I thought it was related to the word "derogitoryness".
