CNN Democratic Debate

RE: CNN Democratic Debate
Two things I like about Sanders: He's been who he is for a long time. He had a strong answer ready for almost everything. And he's gotta have some of these small government republicans scrambling.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

If history has taught us anything it is that once empires start down the road to oblivion they rarely recover.

Oh wait.  We don't learn shit from history.

RE: CNN Democratic Debate
If I ever run for something like Public office, I am going to be portraying myself as Right wing - Moderate as I can, and then suddenly give away all the money I got from the Corporations for my campaign to something that opposes Citizens United, announce my policies will mirror those of Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders, Announce I will no longer take corporate funds, and plan that to go down during a Democratic or GOP debate. I can easily argue that those funds went into supporting my campaign, as they did.

Pretty fucking sweet, Right? Of course, that would only happen if Sanders doesn't get the vote.

Even if Corporations read about this, there is nothing they can fucking do about it except let this country be a Democracy instead of a Oligarchy. But the closest time I think I may run for office will be a couple decades. I really hope Bernie Sanders wins by then.

Bernie sadly doesn't stand a chance because the media doesn't want him to win. It's certainly not 'liberal' like Republicans try to paint it. If it were as liberal as they were claiming, they'd have it taken off the air. I can only imagine if there were actually a liberal version of Fox News. They've been able to paint socialism as bad by equating it to the Nazis, to Communism, to North Korea. It's why they're so against public education. People could learn something that goes against what they consider to be "American".

I'm not really a fan of the Republicunt party, regardless of who is leading it... and I often feel like the leader is just a puppet for a party's agenda anyway.

RE: CNN Democratic Debate
O'Malley kinda did what he really had to do in this case, which is to try to appeal to the people who think sanders can't win, while still pushing in a similar, somewhat more moderate direction.

I could see him gain ground in future debates...

But then, I also think that Sanders may well explode and push through... and even if he fails to nail it this time? He's gotten people like me interested in casting ANY votes. Speaking to the voting disenfranchised, that speaks to me. Think my ideal ticket is Sanders/O'Malley... but if neither of them do make the democratic ticket this year?

I'll toss a vote towards Jill Stein, just to say that I'll be there next time... and also to say that I'm going to be voting towards people who better represent me, at the least, in coming elections.

Add number three to the list. I've seen him questioning the media and asking them why they weren't asking the important questions.

Our media is as much responsible for the dumbing down of our political process as the politicans are, and it's nice to see someone that calls them out for it instead of sucking off their teat.

And a fourth one is that he actually has foresight.   Here he is in 2003 calling out Alan Greenspan telling him his policies will lead to ruin.
