Yep, same here...

Are you asking if life sprang up, died out, and then sprang up again to continue for billions of years until present?
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Truth is, you're not far removed from the Stone Age. If something isn't explained in explicit detail, the answer is god. Just like our ancestors looking at the sun and the moon, not getting their nature, and calling them gods.

If something isn't explained as of yet, it doesn't mean, it won't be explained in the future. We've come a long way since we left the caves. We're not all knowing and probably never will be. Doesn't mean though, god done it. Just that we don't have the answer.

Hypothetically speaking, if the earth is as old as scientists state that it is, what would be the possibility of life existing on earth before what we know as life on earth today?  Would this be a possibility?  Has the scientific community considered this?  Could the possibility of proof exist scientifically?  Why or why not?  Besides the evolution theory, could this in any way explain the different fossils such as the different shapes of skulls that serve to most scientists as proof of the evolution theory? If this questioning of mine could be proven, how would it change the outlook of science as we know it today?
Now, do I understand it correctly that you would like to explain the different hominid fossils via several separate and completely independent trees of life? This is exceedingly unlikely. Also, where are these hominids supposed to have come from if there is no evolution? You would have to invoke a devious intelligent designer and magic to recreate the observed fossils and biochemistry, a super complicated and convoluted scenario.

What does the big bang have to do with any of this???

I'm not sure what you mean by this question.

Are you asking if it is possible that life existed on earth, in different forms, than it does today?

As in, no humans?

Only dinosaurs?

Can you clarify what exactly you mean by "life existing on earth before what we know as life on earth, today", please?

Whatever.  I guess anywhere from a possible single celled organism to humans.

On the questions that I asked, it was going on the angle that maybe something was here and then got wiped out like the dinosaurs.  It turn, life started back up again. I guess the Big Bang doesn't have anything to do with it.  Then again we are making discoveries all the time and there is so much that we do not know about.

If you exclude magic, there were no humans from an independent origin, because evolution does not work with long term goals. There could have been a different independent tree of life before ours, but note that there was not a lot of time geologically speaking, so it probably wouldn't have come too far.

RE: Blowing Scientists Minds
ok then, here's an explanation...

...it's a 1.5 hour documentary from National Geographic on the Story of the Earth:

I urge you to give it a chance, take a day or so to watch it;

and I quite seriously recommend keeping a pen and paper handy
to notate how far back in time they tell you certain events occurred;

AND how many millions (or billions, be careful) of years
they mention passing for any single given stage in Earth's evolutionary history, to pass.

note:  this documentary does NOT give the details of how evolution occurs, in animals;
...you would need a different documentary for that.

This documentary merely gives an overview of how the Earth was first formed, itself;

and THEN it fast-forwards, over the course of an hour,
through all the different stages Life has gone through,
on this planet.

I hope you enjoy it, and it answers your questions.

Life has gone through multiple stages, on Earth.

Here is a Wiki article listing the major mass-extinction events in Earth's history:

RE: Blowing Scientists Minds
It's entirely possible that life arose two or more times on Earth. It's incredibly unlikely that any modern fossils are from any other lineage of life.

Yes, this possibility has been considered by scientists for a long time, so I don't think it would blow their minds.
