Christian fundamentalists plot against the US Constitution

RE: Christian fundamentalists plot against the US Constitution
Whats boggles me is that the xtians believe that if the scepter where handed to them that life would be better for everyone. They truly believe that what ever nation was under their control wouldn't turn out near exactly like the current Muslim nations. History has shown a very grim picture of what happens when religion is the politics. What would happen to my life and your life once they have the power again?

Iv'e tried to ask this question to the resident theists and they most that was ever said was "oh nothing to you we wouldn't be like the Muslim." Horseshit sez I and sez history.

RE: Christian fundamentalists plot against the US Constitution
The World Congress of Families, an obscure religious right group, met this week in Salt Lake City to discuss its political agenda and its vision for America's future.

Here is a description of part of their manifesto:
"Their platform, as outlined by Carlson and his associate, Paul T. Mero, in their publication “The Natural Family: A Manifesto” articulates demands to end same-sex marriage, no-fault divorce, abortion rights, contraception access and, puzzlingly, “the aggressive state promotion of androgyny.”

But never fear. Carlson and Mero don’t just want to repeal things. No, they have suggestions too—like “encouraging” employers to pay a “family wage to heads of households.” Those heads of households, of course, are male. The authors lauded 19th century laws that allocated one wage per family paid out to fathers. The policies . . .  would effectively ban women from working."

Of course, such policies will never get a majority vote from Americans.  BUT - most Americans aren't aware that there are many groups like this who hold similar values and political aspirations.

American citizens are absolutely lazy when it comes to even knowing who theyre voting for many just vote on their party whoever is running they vote for i dont think all republicans support that but they are just as lazy as democrats
Imagine there's no heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today   FSM Grin   Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you will join us And the world will be as one  - John Lennon
