Nope.  The numbers of atheists/non-religious people are growing at an astonishing rate in this country.  Just do a couple of searches, Pew reports, etc.   You see, people are learning how to THINK.    They communicate with people all over the globe.  They see scientific advances the day they occur.  Dominionism is dying.

It's a real shame that the phrase "separation of church and state" has caught on so much, because it heavily implies actual churches. What it really means is religion, not churches; any religion. Christianity, or any religion that happens to have churches, is not supposed to have any special treatment or endorsement over those that don't.

Good point, that's why I often say 'separation of government and religion' instead.

I sometimes think the rise of Christianism is at least partly causal in the rise of the Nones and the increase in atheism. They're driving their kids out of church in droves, and being out of church for a few years, escaping the echo chamber, often leads to a rethinking of beliefs.

Ironically, fundamentalists/creationists probably do us a favour in this regard as they are the ones most obviously believing false things.
