Poll for atheists - Do you still celebrate Christmas and why?
RE: Poll for atheists - Do you still celebrate Christmas and why?
No, it is holiday for hate-filled, hell obsessed Christians because, as one Xmass song describes it: "It's a season of love and understanding" so it's their season when they feel compassion toward other humans and especially people of other religions and non-religion, to me it's all year, but since the are in religion of death cult they can only make themselves feel like that only for few day at most.

Plus I don't even like the sweets. If I eat only small amount of cake I immediately get tunnel vision, spasms all over my body and pain like someone is drilling nails at parts of my body. I can only eat chocolate with less sugar in it.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I don't celebrate it, it's a massive inconvenience to me and I hate the week or so after too where the shops are hardly open and the world stops.
A god that does not manifest in reality is indistinguishable from a god that does not exist. - Matt Dillahunty
