"Forum team" groups question.

"Forum team" groups question.
Just wondering why donators are part of the "forum team" groups along with staff but ex-staff aren't.

I understand ex-staff aren't part of the staff anymore (although that's not always permanent) but then donators aren't either(the ones who aren't also staff I mean, the purple ones), so why are they part of the forum team but ex-staff aren't? Especially when the ex-staff sometimes return, like I have.

Just wondering what others think, both my fellow staff and other forum users.

RE: "Forum team" groups question.
So should we perhaps include ex-staff for a fourth group of the "forum team"? Perhaps only including the active ones rather than the ex-staff that may never return?

What about an "active ex-staff" group?

Because they're filthy quitters and should be cast into the pits of hell?

Do we need to be considered part of a "team"?

I don't know about the rest of you but it's not like I'm contributing in some meaningful fashion.

Prettying up the sarcasm isn't meaningful - I call a spade a spade.

I had never noticed that I wasn't part of the team, but now that I know, goddamit, I want in!

In all seriousness, I don't see this as a big deal. There are probably better ways for the staff to use thier resources, like smiting all those fucking spam bots.

Oh it's definitely not a big deal.

Oh and that is a point, that donators are contributing more especially than ex-staff members, as are current staff members.

But still, active ex-staff seem closer to being part of the 'forum team' than standard members is all, and sometimes they return to staff.

I dunno, I guess I just expected the 'forum team' to just be staff and although including donors make sense, I just thought why not include ex-staff as well.

I guess part of me just expected all the colors that weren't the standard light blue to be included?

This is pretty much the reason. People who get special treatment: Admins, Moderators, people who give us $$$. Everyone else can fuck off.

</joke> (if it wasn't obvious)
