A question about hell

Mathematically speaking, I will always have spent one extra day in Hell, and your suffering will always be lesser to mine in sheer amount inflicted over time.
How can you truly be in Hell when comparatively I will always have known greater suffering?
According to the Christian fairy tale hell is just temporary, everyone makes bail for Judgment Day.  And just because a person was in  hell it doesn't mean that he won't get into the giant gaudy bejeweled golden cube called New Jerusalem if he's a member of one of the twelve tribes of Israel.  You have to be a member in order to pass through one of the twelve pearly gates.  After Judgment Day hell is tossed into the lake of fire.    If you end up in the lake of fire its for eternity but you might be dead.  If not, it's going to suck big time.

The Christian version of hell and eternal life was copied from the Zoroastrians.  It's very similar except the Zoroastrians don't have the golden cube.

Your version of hell is somewhat similar to the Islamic version of hell, except the muslims also have a Judgment Day.  Avoid the Islamic hell.  It's really horrible.

The bible does not say we burn forever in a lake of fire. The bible says Hell is forever and Satan is the only one doomed to burn forever. "We"/Man who chooses Hell over eternal life. Are sent to Hell to be consumed by fire/destroyed by Hell fire. Or so said Christ.

Why is it ok for anyone to burn in fire forever? You say that like it's supposed to be ok if it's just Satan. What did he do to deserve hell, besides tell Yahweh he was unworthy? After reading the old testament, I came to the same conclusion. Yahweh seemed to be proving Satan correct throughout the books. The fact that he would create a place such as hell at all speaks of his sadism. When you have a narcissistic dictator in power who doesn't listen to anyone then what other rection can a free willed individual have than opposing it?

If there is a hell, which I doubt, it will almost certainly be a place that is teeming with Spurs fans and religious people..

Because God said so.

Is Satan a 'person/anyone?'

So if someone intentionally infected you with a zombie virus, or lets say HIV Something that if you did not have you could live forever, but because this person infected you you'll be lucky to live the time you have left... Now imagine that person infecting a whole planet of people... Billions and billions of people now have to die. What can this being pay with to equal the damage he has done to so many?

So what day was Hell created on? If you say Hell was created, then which day of the 6 days of creation did God create Hell?
Hell, is the absence of all that God has done. It is the oppsite of creation. It is the void in which creation was called out of. God is simply expelling all those who do not want to be apart of creation back into the void.

what makes you think you have free will?

Jesus said 'we'/Man will be consumed/destroyed by Hell fire. Meaning we will be sent to Hell to die.

However the bible says Hell is forever, and Satan will be given 'eternal life' to be punished in Hell fire forever.

You mean because people who wrote the books say their god says so. The best we ever get is second hand information at best. Though even the dead sea scrolls aren't original documents, so we don't even have second hand information.

Is Satan a person? Is Yahweh? I'd say neither are, but I'm not a believer.

Are you talking about Satan, who told us we could be better than what we are, or Yahweh who cursed us? I'd say the person who caused us so much pain should be severely punished, but I think we have differing opinions on who is at fault. Assuming either of those individuals are real.

Well hell is a christian belief, so of course it wouldn't be mentioned in the six day creation, but the six day creation acts like the rest of the universe took a day to create because people back then didn't realize what the stars actually are.

If I don't have free will, I can't be held accountable for anything. So there won't be any judgement. You may have a different idea of what free will is.

Speak for yourself. I got first hand info. Everything I know about hell was experienced long before I picked up a bible and studied it. I learned about Hell, by experience and then read my bible that confirmed what I learned.

If you truly want to know what Hell is like simply ask God to send you.. just know that He has promised anyone who wants to go, a trip there. (just not always a trip back)

Quote:Is Satan a person? Is Yahweh? I'd say neither are, but I'm not a believer.
they are not. So then why would your 'person' rule apply to satan's time in Hell?

Quote:Are you talking about Satan, who told us we could be better than what we are,
better how? Better like The Taliban, ISIS, Nazis? or better like North Korea, the KKK or Hirohito's Japan? How is this better than being able to spend time with God face to Face? How is constant war Better, poverty, sickness, and hardship 'better?'

Quote:Yahweh who cursed us?
cursed how child birth and work?

Quote:I'd say the person who caused us so much pain should be severely punished, but I think we have differing opinions on who is at fault. Assuming either of those individuals are real.
So what should be done to the one who caused all this pain and suffering? Eternity in Hell?

Quote:Well hell is a christian belief, so of course it wouldn't be mentioned in the six day creation, but the six day creation acts like the rest of the universe took a day to create because people back then didn't realize what the stars actually are.
what???

Who says?
Did slaves have free will? Were they ever given 'choice' over anything? and if they abused said choices were they not ever held accountable?

What philosophical delusion do you live in that slaves were never held accountable to the limited choices they/we are given?

So there's no literal "realm of eternal torment"? I wish God had cleared that up, could've prevented a lot of stress.
