Neither, I wish people would be non violent no matter what someone else says. 7 billion humans make it absurd to push a utopia where we talk like we are living in a Mickey Mouse movie.

Gay or heterosexual, you still have to be attracted to the person, and even then some people are not into certain sexual acts.

If you are not sure who you are hitting on or your current partner is into ASK.  the best thing the partner can do is ask, and if they say no, then it is probably not a good thing to attempt after they say no. Plus it would make you a insensitive asshole.
