What/Who created God?
RE: What/Who created God?

Why can't a timeless God create something limited to time? You're saying he could only create something timeless?

By his own reasoning, any assertion would be equally valid, including the rejection of such a belief. This is illogical... 1 cannot equal 1 and 2 at the same time.
That is a different argument. I'd rather leave that to another discussion, if that's ok with you.

Same reason I can't make a truely two-dimensional object. We're clearly operating in a space well above and beyond two dimensions, but something limited to only just to length and width? Impossible.

Nope, I don't see it. Expand.

(thanks for the input btw Wink)

There's not a whole lot to expand on. We live in a three-dimensional world with a component of time we barely understand in the sense that we understand it only goes in one direction and can only be measured by the rate of entropy and flow of energy.

Until we can start making things in which the laws of physics work differently for us, we're limited to only the up and down, left and right, and forward and backward directions and what we understand to be time.

Other than that, you're assuming things about a being you know nothing about - even its very existance, so saying what such a being can and cannot do is entirely meaningless.

Yet we can know what two dimensional and timeless are to know what we're aiming to achieve. It's that idea that we're exploring. They may not be an absolute known, but stemming from them are many theories considered to be rational. Or you're calling a lot of theories illogical.

What? Who is 'we'? What is this group 'exploring'? What theories?
There are no absolutes truths. What theories are you talking about?

Are you serious about such a statement?

I am not absolutely sure that there are no absolute truths.

I bet we can make them believe there is a magic man in the sky who watches them shower and really cares if they win their basketball game or not. A plan was devised, put into motion, and the rest is history. Oh Mr Thompson, what a guy.

The most impressive part being that you did this all from the future to have such great effect on the past.

Yes.

@ EvidencevsFaith:

You can't harm me with that! I've been built with logical paradox-absorbing crumple-zones!
