I've got a copy of the quaran in my hand it says its the word of god so I know its the word of god because it says so.

See Pastor now you have to be a Muslim cos it says so in this here book.

I am an atheist (well according to some I'm actually a theological non-cognitivist and I'm in the off-category zone, but forget about that it mght confuse you) but I don't recollect me claiming that god does not exist. Why do you categorically lie about what I actually claim?

As an agnostic atheist, I do not claim that god doesn't exist. I lack belief in god's existance. Big differance!

Also, the bible is not evidence for god's existance.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.
